1 - Mukesh Ambani Ranked at Top in Hurun India Philanthropy List 2018
The Chairman of Reliance Industries and the richest person of India as well as Asia, Mukesh Ambani is ranked at the top in Hurun India Philanthropy List 2018. In the list, the second rank is given to Ajay Piramal, the Piramal Group.
As per the report prepared by Hurun Research Institute, India, Mr. Mukesh Ambani and family donated Rs. 437 crore from the month of October 2017 to September 2018. Whereas, in the same period, Ajay Piramal donated Rs 200 crore.

2 - India Placed at 47th Rank in the Facebook Inclusive Internet Index 2019
As per the Inclusive Internet Index (3i) 2019, prepared by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) for Facebook, India has been placed at 47th rank out of 100 participants. Sweden is placed at the top in the list. Based on the scores of availability, affordability, relevance, and readiness categories, the “Inclusive Internet” score has been prepared.
As per this report, men have more access than women globally; however, lower middle income countries narrowed the gender gap in 2018. Inclusion for women along with the disabilities has improved with low income and lower middle income countries driving progress.
Though the percentage of households having the internet facility globally increased, on average from 53.1 percent to 54.8 percent, but the rate of growth related to internet connections slowed to 2.9% in 2019 from 7.7% in 2018.
