1 - Dhanya Became First Woman to Climb Agasthyarkoodam Peak

Kerala woman namely Dhanya placed her name into the history book, as first woman to climb on the Agasthyarkoodam peak. Located in Kerala, Agasthyarkoodam peak is 1868-meter high mountain peak.

On this peak, every year, the state forest department conducts treks, but officially, now women are allowed to climb as security and safety issues are taken care of. Currently, Dhanya is serving as the spokesperson of the Defence Ministry in Thiruvananthapuram. She is a civil servant of 2012 batch. After Dhanya, many other women climbed this mountain peak.

2 - Kareena Kapoor Became Brand Ambassador of Swasth Immunized India

As per the latest report, the Bollywood queen Kareena Kapoor Khan, has been made the new brand ambassador of Swasth Immunized India. Kareena was happy to be part of the campaign, which is helmed by her close friend Natasha Poonawalla’s husband, Adar Poonawalla.

Swasth Immunized India is an initiative to immunize children under the age of 2 years. She has been chosen as the right person for such campaign, as she more frequently remains involved in such social activities and also supports social causes.

3 - Hina Jaiswal Became the first Indian Woman Flight Engineer

Flight Lieutenant Hina Jaiswal has become the first Indian woman flight engineer. According to Defense Ministry, Hina has been appointed after completing the course at the Yelahanka Air Force Station.

As a Flight Engineer, Hina would be posted to operational helicopter units of the Indian Air Force (IAF). In the Unit, Hina is always admired for her ability to operate in the demanding and stressful conditions.

Hina also shared her feelings through the following words:

"I am enthusiastic about my stint in aviation and look forward to embracing the challenges in the service".

4 - Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif Resigned

Iranian Foreign minister Javad Zarif has announced his resignation from his post of minister. However, this resignation come into effect when President of Iran, Hassan Rouhani accept the resignation of Mr. Zarif.

Mr. Zarif played most important role for negotiating the landmark 2015 nuclear agreement between Iran and major international powers.

Mr. Zarif is foreign minister since 2013 but in 2018, he faced criticism for withdrawal of United States from the nuclear deal.
