Even numbers

Even numbers are those numbers that are divisible by 2

All those numbers that have a 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8 in their one’s place are even numbers.

For example, 4, 16, 38, 464, 1070…are even numbers as they are divisible by 2

Odd numbers

Odd numbers are those numbers that are NOT divisible by 2.

All those numbers that have a 1, 3, 5, 7 or 9 in their ones place are odd numbers.

For example, 3, 7, 19, 75, 697, 3743…are all odd numbers.
