The Facebook founder, Zuckerberg has a net worth of $50 billion that makes him richer than America Movil's Carlos Slim and Amazon's Jeff Bezos.

News 2 - Snapdeal won’t renew Aamir Khan's brand ambassador contract.

E-Commerce player Snapdeal has denied the renewal of its brand ambassador, Aamir Khan’s contract on February 05, 2016. This decision may have been influenced by Khan's controversial 'intolerance' remark that affected Snapdeal adversely. Snapdeal has exclusively featured Khan in its 'Dil Ki Deal' print, television and digital campaigns.

Snapdeal's announcement comes almost a month after Incredible India, the signature advertising campaign for the tourism ministry to promote India globally, dropped the actor as its brand ambassador.

News 3 - Sundar Pichai becomes highest paid CEO in US.

On February 08, 2016 Google CEO, Sundar Pichai got $199 million worth of shares making him the highest paid CEO in the US. He has got 273,328 shares that will have quarterly increments through 2019, if he continues on the job. Pichai's holdings in the parent company Alphabet is around $650 million.

But it is still far short of the fortunes made by Google’s founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, who are worth $34.6bn and $33.9bn according to Forbes. It is also a lot less than Google’s former CEO, Eric Schmidt, who holds shares worth $3bn.

News 4 - Mumbai-based Robin Chaurasiya among 2016 Global Teacher's Prize finalists.

Robin Chaurasiya a teacher from Mumbai was named one of the top 10 finalists on February 17, 2016 for the Global Teacher's Prize 2016. The prize is considered as the Nobel Prize for teaching.

Chaurasiya has founded the Kranti School for daughters of commercial sex workers of Kamathipura. There were more than 8,000 nominations from 148 countries and the final award will be announced on March 13. The prize has a cash prize of $1 million.

News 5 - Vijay Mallya declared willful defaulter by PNB.

Vijay Mallya led United Breweries Holdings Ltd was termed a willful defaulter by Punjab National Bank on February 16, 2016. On 13 November 2015, State Bank of India (SBI) had declared Mallya as a willful defaulter, after talks to get the UB Group chairman to clear debt of Rs 8,700 crore to a 17-bank consortium failed. Mallya had pledged his shares in United Breweries, United Spirits and United Breweries (Holdings) to banks, against which loans were given to Kingfisher Airlines.

News 6 - Lyricist Sameer Anjaan Enters Guinness Book of World Records.

Bollywood’s lyricist, Sameer Anjaan entered Guinness Book of World Records. He was rewarded for writing the most number of songs for Bollywood films on February 17, 2016. Sameer wrote 3,524 songs for 650 Bollywood movies, as verified on December 15, 2015.

Son of veteran lyricist Anjaan (Lalji Pandey), Sameer started his career as a lyricist in 1983 with Bekhabar. Later, films such as Dil and Aashiqui established him as the undisputed champion of romantic songs. He has three Filmfare awards in his list of accolades.

News 7 - Vishal Sikka's term as Infosys CEO extended.

India's second largest software exporter Infosys announced on February 24, 2016 that Vishal Sikka will have an extended term of 2 years as the Chief Executive Officer, along with a bumper raise in annual salary.

Under Sikka, who took over as the CEO and Managing Director in August 2014, the company is now posting strong growth numbers for the last few quarters.
